if cats are soooooo cool

then how come EVERY SINGLE CAT OWNER who wants to prove to you how cool their cat is, says things like.. "my cat doesn't act like a cat.. it acts like a dog."

if the only thing that makes your cat cool is it acting like an animal it isn't... THEN WHY HAVE A STUPID CAT AT ALL?!?!?!

if you want a cat that acts like a dog.... get a dog.

dogs rule.

cats suck.

At the risk of sounding like a crazy cat lady (who LOVES dogs too, and pretty much any pet, minus fish which are NOT pets), the great thing about cats is they are EASY. After three kids who are nipping at my heels all day long, if I had a pet that needed me too much right now, I'd lose my head. We'll get a dog after youngest turns 5 in the hopes that the dog will fill my need to have a creature totally dependent on me for everything.

Ouch.

I've never had a cat that acted like a dog. Every cat I've ever owned has been neurotic. I wonder what that says about me? Anyway, like Fairly Odd Mother, I like cats because they're easy and fairly independent. Having a dog is like having another child because they need constant supervision. However, we're getting a dog in the next few weeks (the kids have been begging) and my husband is reading a book about getting a new puppy. I know, a book! No such thing is needed for a cat.

lol i love cats more and i won't argue that they're like a dog. they're NOT. i enjoy the quietness of a cat...and that they're independant and don't need my constant care UNLIKE my dogs. yes dogs are more loyal and more fun as pets. but i prefer cats more.

so why do i have 2 dogs and NO cats? don't ask me lol i had cats growing up though my whole entire life. i miss having them. but i'll never be getting one again because matt doesn't like them!

Why aren't fish considered pets? If you feed them not, do they die not?

My dad would beg to differ on that statement: not only did he once perform mouth-to-mouth on one of his fish, he also forgot my birthday one year because his fish (which he had for like 3 years) died the morning of my birthday.

I hate cats (FYI).

Cats do not suck, but they are bitchy sometimes. I can relate.

I love my cats because they don't act like dogs. They act like unruly obnoxious teenagers except they love to cuddle which my teens do not anymore. Cats are devious too, it's a constant game of "What are they planning to do now?" We live on the edge here with 3 cats.

I really shouldn't have cats or dogs due to my allergies but I love my kitties especially because they keep down the rodent population. Every time they bring me a mouse, mole, shrew or big gigantic RAT!, I say Good Kitty! Good Kitty, but no! you can't bring it in the house!

I don't HATE cats, but I don't love them like I love dogs. I don't know, there is just something about a dog that is super excited to see me when I get home that just makes my day.
