when did sunday's become the official day of suck?

i mean really? what happened to sunday's and actually enjoying them? is that just for kids? because my sunday's really tend to suck ass.

first of all, sunday already half sucks because you have to go to work the next day. so right there the day is half shot. you can't stay up as late as you want and sleep in until noon. you know? *sighs* sunday for me is nothing but a bunch of chores. i feel like i do laundry from the moment i wake up until i go to sleep. i clean the house. i vacuum (with my dyson that i love so much it hurts me inside). i go grocery shopping. i feel like i never sit down. and every sunday is the same way. well, unless we're at a baseball tournament, then i have to do all that stuff once we get home.

it's just weird how unenjoyable sunday's have become. day of rest my ass. sunday's suck. you know it. i know it. everyone knows it. sunday's can suck it.

dude, I hear ya. I try to spread the chores out during the week so that I'm not stuck spending my whole "day of rest" working on house crap.

but do I ever understand.

I want a Dyson more than you will ever know. Do you love it more than life? Will it pick up everything and then some? Will it save me from the evilness of that rug in our living room that always looks mildly grungy because somebody in our household thought a black rug would be a good idea? Will it never let me down?

Or, is it, as my husband has suggested on EVERY occasion that I have brought it up, an overrated appliance?

Please, please, jennster, do a mini review just for me?

For me Sundays are great. "Sunday Funday" is what we call it. My girlfriends and I meet around 4, watch football, eat snacks, drink lots of of beer or whatever and gossip. I am in bed by 9:00 and I get that good "I've been drinking" sleep.

Sundays do suck for us too. There's just this lull around the house---I want to just lie around but I feel like I should be doing something and so I half-heartedly start a project I can't finish. Oh, and I want my husband to take the kids away for about 8 hours every Sunday but he wants "Family Time". Puh-leez.

Personally, I like Mondays when all of my responsibilities go back to work or school and I can breath a sigh of relief.

I agree. I hate Sundays too. The thought of going back to work on Monday is always depressing. The excitement of Friday afternoon is long gone by the time Sunday rolls around. This is why we should also have Mondays off. Mondays already suck, so why not? And then Sundays would be back to a day of relaxing. :) I think I'm on to something.

I want to know about the Dyson too. I shed long blonde hairs like you wouldn't believe. The vacuum we have now has hair all rolled up around the rolling thing, so 1) the vacuum doesn't really roll anymore, and 2) it smells like burning hair (obviously) every time I vacuum. So, would the Dyson take care of this problem or what? I'm willing to drop $500 on a vacuum cleaner if it sucks up my blonde hair. :) Do tell.

I am anti-Sunday. Haha! I don't have to go to work on Monday, but my husband does - and man he can be a grouch all day because of the work factor alone. So that drags my Sunday down. Then there's the laundry..why is it on Sunday you magically realize you have 10 years worth of laundry piled up infront of the washer that just was NOT there on Saturday?

Sunday? That's my fun day, my I don't have to run day.

Now Monday's are the manic day for me.

I like Sundays. Even if I have to do the church thing. All my days tend to consist of never sitting down though.

SUndays for me aren't that bad actually. I don't worry too much about Monday because I only have one class and it is at 11.

Which Dyson do you have? Because I need a new vacuum. Mine died the other day.

And Saturday is filled with soccer and more soccer. Weekends are just days to work at home now. Which kinda sucks too.

More Dyson info!! Come on! We're dying for it over here!!

I am in FULL agreement. the only thing worse for me than Sunday is Monday... and of course my favorite day of the week is Saturday - for the obvious reasons of BOTH sleeping in and staying up late... and of course not working... ugh.... sundays do suck.
