working on my fitness, an update

remember when i posted way back when about doing some workout video from the p90x series? and that i was so sore i could barely walk for days? and that when i went to sit down on the toilet, i would literally fall onto it because my legs couldn't hold my weight up?? remember the torture of the p90x video???


well i'm doing it again. but this time, i'm doing ALL the videos (you know, instead of just the one video i did, one time ha). i'm doing the series and i'm doing them in order. there's about 8 of us here at work who are doing them. we totally motivate eachother. i'm um... on day 3. shutup, it's better than being on day negative 0. so yeah. my body is killing me. i'm sore ALL over, but it's a good sore. i don't want to be ripped like the videos show, but i do want to lose weight.. and i'm sorry people, but the elliptical just aint cutting it. i feel like if i do these videos consistantly for even a month, there's no reason why i shouldn't see some sort of change in my body. these are like reshaping videos. i actually feel like i'm doing something when i do them. they're hard as hell and i can't do all the reps that they do, but i try.

so yeah. that's what i'm doing. kicking my own ass daily. and i like it. and look forward to it. i must be sick or something.

By the way, zero is an integer, but it's neither positive nor negative. :)

Jenn, I LOVE BeachBody products! I've tried a few of their series (P90 (the original), Slim in 6, and YogaBootyBallet) but I'm totally in LOVE with TurboJam. You should definitely give that one a try when you're done with p90x. It mixes tae kwon do, boxing and dance. I actually look forward to working out now.

I was going to try p90x but it scared me! Seemed to intense for the fitness level I'm at.

day 3 is a lot better than me. I am still at day 0 for the video set I got (Billy's Boot Camp). I received them about 3 months ago. I pumped up the exercise ball and put the resistance bands together, and that was about it.

Congrats on getting past day zero!

I started running and have kept up with it. Make it past those first couple of days and you'll be fine. Nice work!

ROCK the bod, sister! Way to motivate and get on the move. When you get all pumped up and can move all your limbs at the same time again, feel free to come over and scream at my lazy ass to get up too.

I have some friends that have been doing P90X and they look awesome. So I know you can do it! You'll look even hotter when you're done!

Katie and I are gonna Do those videos as soon as she pops this kid out. You have to tell (or show us) when were up there in Nov.
