make mine a double- can you do that with tea?

i'm turning into one of those people who actually goes out of her way to go to starbucks. (another sign that the apocolypse is coming, or britney & justin are getting back together!) it's not very often at all, BUT STILL! up until about 2 years ago, i'd never even been inside a freaking starbucks before. i hate coffee. still do. but i'm obsessed with their chai tea lattes. even though it's a really random occasion that i do go there, i always feel completely out of place. like i'm trying to be some sort of trendy, yuppy dork who hangs out in there all day and reads a paper, instead of going to work. if every starbucks had a drive thru, i'd never go inside one again. i never realized that you could honestly feel like a fraud in a coffee shop, but apparently you can. or apparently i can.

Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf's Chai Lattes are WAY better than Starbucks. Those they have those where you live? ;o)

But totally agree about the whole feeling like a fraud. Whenever I go in, I refuse to say vente or grande or whatever they call their sizes. I rebel and say "make mine large." They're not going to convert me!

Hey! Thanks for visiting my blog!

At this point, I think Britney might just be TOO white trash for Justin. I wanted them to get back together, especially through the initial breakup period...

Starbucks is evil. I will kill it dead with chainsaws. Except for their plain apple cider with whipped cream during the winter. Oh my GOD that stuff is orgasmic.

You are the second person I've heard from in the last few weeks who hates coffee but frequents Starbucks. It's really become a cultural thing...wish I'd bought the stock way back when. Oh well.

I'm with you on the Chai obsession. I get a venti 7-pump chai (2xtra pumps for extra chai-ness), no water, no foam twice a week. I go right after dropping my dd off at preschool and then sit and read the paper and enjoying every minute of it!

2 extra pumps of chai?!?! no water?!? does it taste good?!?! LOL i am so new to all this starbucks lingo shit! lol

I'm another one who hates coffee but will go to Starbucks sometimes. I really only go around the holidays for their peppermint hot chocolate. And I do feel super yuppy going there. I'd much rather frequent an independent coffee shop...

seriously. i feel like a fraudalant asshole, who doesn't want to say "grande" who doesn't like coffee and just wants her fucking tea so she can get out of there! starbucks is scary i've decided.

I feel your pain. I go there occasionally and feel like an idiot when I have to look at the menu for like 10 minutes while everyone else blurts out there orders without thinking. I don't think I would want to be one of those people, though.
